CFP: Reimagined AI Anthology by Achi Mishra ’25

Achi Mishra is currently accepting short stories and poetry submissions for an online publication and anthology on Reimagining the future of AI. All submissions should comply with the workshops themes, such as Algorithmic bias, surveillance technology, disinformation, deepfakes, data privacy, worker exploitation, and/or accessibility. The anthology will launch in summer 2025, and all contributors will receive a free copy.

Antigone in Chicago with Sophia Elzie ’25

In April, join one of two reading groups to discuss Antigone in advance of a panel discussion. On April 24, attend a panel discussion featuring theatre professionals involved in recent productions of Antigone in the Chicago area (panelists TBA). What is it about Antigone that is so appealing in our current moment? How can this play help us think about what we value, both as individuals and as a community?
Photos in Africa with Yuan-Chih (Sreddy) Yen ’24

In this first installment of "Photos in Africa", Yuan-Chih (Sreddy) Yen will be in conversation with Nigeria-born writer, critic and photographer Emmanuel Iduma about his groundbreaking work in and for (African) photography: his Tender Photo Substack, his broader art criticism, as well as his travelogue A Stranger's Pose. Winner of the prestigious Windham-Campbell Prize in the nonfiction category, Iduma is also the author of the novel Farad (republished in North America as The Sound of Things to Come) and I Am Still With You, a memoir on the aftermath of the Nigerian civil war.
